You are here

  1. Keep it local
  2. Personal service

Personal service

It always seems better to talk with a friend or someone you know when you have questions or concerns. And seeing a friendly and smiling face tends to brighten a person’s day.

As an electric cooperative member, you receive personal service from employees who live in your community too. They may be your neighbor or your friend. You may see them in the grocery store or at church.

Our employees care about our community. And they care about you, our members. Line workers often work in rough weather and put in long hours to get your power back on quickly when storms knock it out. Member service representatives you speak with try to answer your questions with precision and address your concerns with compassion. Engineers continually explore new technologies to improve service reliability. And our finance department works to make paying your bill easier and more convenient.

Whether it’s a power outage or energy audit, a billing question or community event, we’re working hard to provide you the best service every day.

About Us

Even though your electric cooperative is locally owned and committed to your local community, we are part of something bigger too. We are a network of 51 distribution cooperatives in Missouri, southern Iowa and northeastern Oklahoma, serving 910,000 member homes, farms and businesses. We receive power generation through six regional Generation and Transmission (G&T) cooperatives and one collective G&T, Associated Electric Cooperative.
